In Cook County, Township Assessors do not assess property. The Cook County Assessor sets assessment levels for all properties. The Barrington Township Office cooperates with the Cook County Assessor's Office to assist you, the tax payer. We are your "Tax Payer Advocate."

Barrington Township will be open for appeals with the Board of Review from mid-October 2012 to mid-November 2012. Please call Assessors office for exact dates. Appeals can be filed online at www.cookcountyboardofreview.com. The Board of Review can be reached at 312-603-5542. Taxpayers can also file an appeal in the Township office. We can be reached at 847-381-5632. Please note that the Township will be closed on November 12th for Veterans Day and November 22nd and 23rd for the Thanksgiving holiday.
